On May 16, Shenghong sand washing plant, the predecessor of Shenghong group, was established in Shengze Town, Wujiang, Jiangsu Province.
 
In 1994
 
In May, "Shenghong printing and dyeing" merged  the old Xinghe printing and dyeing company (Yonghe printing and dyeing factory), and acquired more than 30 mu (the Chinese version of acre) of land in the surrounding area, and prepared to build a printing factory with four production lines including two flat net line and two circular net line.
 
In 1997
 
In June, Shenghong merged the former Tanqiu printing and dyeing factory and established the third printing and dyeing branch.
 
In 1998
 
In March, Shenghong merged the former Dongfang silk printing and dyeing group company, acquired Dongfang Group, reorganized its resources, divided it into three branches (fourth branch, fifth branches and sixth branch), changed the idle real estate into hotels, and established Hongsheng Hotel Co., Ltd.
 
In 2002
 
Shenghong group set up boutique branch, and successively acquired Zhendong branch and Jiaxing Tianlun nano dyeing and finishing Co., Ltd. to further consolidate its position in the printing and dyeing industry.
 
In 2003
 
Jiangsu Shenghong Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. was established, and the chemical fiber 200,000 tons melt direct spinning project of Shenghong group was started, the group officially entering the chemical fiber industry.
 
In order to alleviate the energy shortage situation and reduce operating costs, Shenghong group planned to build a thermal power plant and develop the energy sector.
 
In 2004
 
In May, Shenghong chemical fiber melt direct spinning project was officially put into operation. With excellent product quality and high-quality service, it quickly seized the market and won the general recognition of users.
 
Shenghong real estate industry officially started, so far, Shenghong group has developed into a modern enterprise group with printing and dyeing, chemical fiber as the leading industry, coordinating developing with sectors of hotel, energy, and real estate.
 
In 2005
 
In June, Shenghong thermal power plant was officially put into operation, reducing the operation cost of the whole group and forming Shenghong thermal power plate.

In July, the phase II 400,000 ton melt direct spinning superfine fiber production project of Shenghong chemical fiber was successfully put into operation, with an annual melt direct spinning capacity of 600,000 tons, becoming the world's largest superfine fiber production base, with a product differentiation rate of more than 85%, known as "Global superfine fiber expert".

Sheng Hong Group continues to expand its advantages in the printing and dyeing industry, purchased Jiaxing Xintiandi printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. and Wujiang Ping Wang bleaching and dyeing factory Co., Ltd., and leased Feixiang printing plant.

In April, Shenghong group's trademark "Shenghong Group" was included in the list of a new batch of Chinese well-known trademarks published by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and commerce.

In May, Pengxiang real estate held the opening ceremony of Shengze wealth center shopping park to build Shengze new town business center.
 
In September, Shenghong group relocated the fourth, the fifth and fine factories in the old city to the new factory and built a new fiber fabric workshop.
 
In October, Jiangsu Guowang high tech fiber Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shenghong group, laid the foundation for the project.
 
In November, Shenghong group successfully signed a petrochemical project with the Management Committee of Xuwei New District of Lianyungang City, officially entering the petrochemical industry.

In February, Shenghong group established ISO / TC38 / SC1 on behalf of China.
 
In July, the 1.5 million ton PTA project of Honggang petrochemical in Shenghong Petrochemical Industrial Park was officially started.

In June, Shenghong released the first international standard for domestic chemical fiber industry, achieving a breakthrough of zero revision of international standard for domestic chemical fiber industry.
 
In August, the first five-star hotel of international brand in Wujiang District, Suzhou Wujiang Shenghong Wan Li Hotel opened.
 
In August, Shenghong was selected into the top 500 Chinese enterprises for the seventh consecutive year, ranking 182 and 29th among the top 500 Chinese private enterprises.

In January, Shenghong group and Beijing Institute of fashion jointly applied for the project "key technology and industrialization of PTT and in-situ functionalized pet polymerization and its composite fiber preparation" and won the second prize of national science and technology progress award.
 
In February, Guowang high tech's 300,000 ton differential fiber intelligent texturing project and neighborhood center (phase I) project officially laid the foundation.
 
In 2017
 
In May, Shenghong printing and dyeing successfully incorporated Jiasheng printing and dyeing into the company's territory through competitive bidding, becoming the company's 21st branch plant, and quickly realized transformation and production.
 
In August, the MTO unit project of Sierbang petrochemical company won the "National Chemical Industry Quality Engineering Award".
 
In September, the 100,000 ton butadiene unit of Sierbang petrochemical company was successfully started, and the whole process of 11 sets of upstream and downstream units were opened, officially entering the stage of comprehensive and stable production.
 
In September, Guowang high tech was awarded "national level green factory".

In August, the advanced functional fiber Innovation Center led by Shenghong group was officially approved as "Jiangsu advanced functional fiber innovation center".
 
In September, Jiangsu Eastern Shenghong Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shenghong group, was successfully reorganized, renamed and listed.
 
In November, GangHong Petrochemical was selected into the third batch of green manufacturing list released by the Ministry of industry and information technology and the list of green factories in petroleum and chemical industry in 2018.
 
In December, Shenghong's 16 million tons refining and chemical integration project started, aiming to become a world-class refining and chemical project representing the country in international competition.

In February, Shengze gas turbine cogeneration project invested and constructed by Eastern Shenghong started.
 
In June, the national advanced functional fiber Innovation Center led by Shenghong group was approved by the Ministry of industry and information technology. It is the first national innovation center led by private enterprises in China.
 
In July, Liu He, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice premier of the State Council and director of the Finance Office of the CPC Central Committee, investigated the economic situation and the production and operation of enterprises in Nanjing, and had a cordial meeting and discussion with Miao Hangen, the chairman of the board of directors.
